Spiral Bevel Gear

A spiral bevel gear has a taper tooth line with a curved pitch. Similar to the meshing process of straight bevel equipment, its meshing is accompanied by the contact point movement along the tooth surface. The contact area of the tooth surface starts at one end of the tooth and gradually moves to the other. At least two sets of teeth engage simultaneously due to the effect of overlapping tooth surfaces (multiple pairs of teeth enter engagement simultaneously). Therefore, spiral bevel gears can transfer more load and work more smoothly than straight bevel gears of the same size (same module) and zero-degree spiral bevel gears.

Spiral Bevel Gear Feature:

Curved teeth: The teeth of spiral bevel gears are curved, which allows smooth and quiet operation compared to straight bevel gears.

Axial thrust: Spiral bevel gears can handle axial thrust, which is a force parallel to the gear shaft. This makes them ideal for applications where there are a lot of axial loads, such as in automotive differentials.

High efficiency: High efficiency of spiral bevel gear, the efficiency level can reach 98%. This means there is little power loss as the gears transfer power from one shaft to another.

Customizable: Spiral bevel gears can be designed to meet specific application requirements such as specific transmission ratios, load capacity and noise levels.

We are one of the best bevel gear suppliers. We can offer wide bevel gear stock. We have exported our products to clients worldwide and earned a good reputation because of our superior product quality and after-sales service. We welcome customers at home and abroad to contact us to negotiate business, exchange information, and cooperate with us!

Bevel Gear Uses:

Automotive applications: Bevel gears are commonly used in automotive differentials to transfer power from the drive shaft to the wheels. They are also used in steering systems and power take-off units.

Industrial machinery: Bevel gears are widely used in industrial machinery, such as machine tools, printing presses, packaging equipment, etc. They can be used to transmit power at right angles between axes, or to change the direction of rotation.

Robotics and automation: Bevel gears are widely used in robotics and automation systems, where they can be used to transmit power, change the direction of motion, and adjust the speed of rotational motion.

Household appliances: Bevel gears are used in many household appliances such as washing machines, vacuum cleaners and power tools. They are used to transfer power between the motor and the drive shaft, or to change the direction of motion.

Marine applications: Bevel gears are used in Marine propulsion systems, where they transfer power from the engine to the drive shaft. They are also used in steering systems and winches.
