Plastic Bevel Gear Feature:
● The teeth on bevel gears can be straight, spiral teeth, or hypoid teeth. Straight bevel gear teeth have the same problem as straight gear teeth meshing. It affects the corresponding teeth all at once.
● Just like spur gears, the solution to this problem is to bend the gear teeth. These helical teeth engage like helical teeth: Contact begins at one end of the gear and gradually spreads throughout the tooth.
